RECORD

Record an interactive session for playback in batch mode.

Format

RECORD session-filespec

Parameters

session-filespec
A file specification where the recorded session will be written.

Description

The RECORD command is used to record an interactive session. The recorded session can then be used as the source for a job that uses the PLAY execution method.
A recorded session file is an ASCII text file that you can edit with a text editor. After recording a session, you may want to edit the session file to replace entered values with <<param-name>> parameter references.
